Job Summary
Conduct quality assurance duties during 12-hour shifts from 4 PM to 4 AM, including measurement, observation, and inspection of process and product to ensure compliance with Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP standards. Perform visual inspections and audits to verify visual defect requirements, manage startups, changeovers, line clearance, and preventive maintenance. Create and maintain documentation per work instructions, use gages to measure product dimensions, and place nonconforming materials on hold when specifications are not met. Communicate with supervisors and shift personnel regarding quality issues and ensure all paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Mathematical ability
- Communication skills
- Writing legibly
- Basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of MS office
