Job Summary
Quality Assurance Team Lead in Payment Operations to build and lead a QA function for Wise's payments domain. Lead a team responsible for independent assurance over how workflows handle Pay-In & Pay-Out, reconciliation and settlement, and exception handling, identifying control gaps and driving practical improvements. Set a customer-focused, risk-based QA culture; coach and develop a high-performing team; drive automation, operational efficiency, and adherence to KPIs/SLAs; communicate findings and insights to stakeholders and participate in audits and policy/process development. The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and maintaining regulatory awareness within a fast-moving payments environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years proven experience in leading, coaching, and managing the performance of a technical or analytical team (5 to 20 employees) in a relevant QA domain
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Delivery: project management skills to deliver a portfolio of projects and reviews on time and to a high standard
- Self-development: commitment to continuing to learn leadership skills and knowledge of industry trends and regulatory insights
- Functional skills: Risk & Compliance expertise, QA framework proficiency, trend analysis, future-ready technology leadership
