Job Summary
Implement the Training Services' Quality Assurance Strategy in accordance with the NSW Quality Framework to ensure quality vocational education and training by contracted Registered Training Organisations. Manage data, triage priorities, and apply risk assessment skills while adhering to the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and Partnership Agreement. Support the implementation of quality outcomes for Aboriginal people and maintain attention to detail across all assurance activities. This role supports the NSW Department of Education's mission to educate and inspire lifelong learners across early childhood, schooling, and vocational training sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in data management
- Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills
- Experience with triaging and prioritising
- Intermediate to advanced digital proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance number
- Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens or a valid work visa)
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational education experience highly desirable
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
