Job Summary
Quality Assurance Supervisor at Weckworth Manufacturing, Inc. reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and leads the Quality team to maintain, update, develop and improve quality systems to meet customers’ expectations. Responsibilities include supervising Quality Inspectors, coordinating with production to meet deadlines, handling customer returns, and acting as second in command for the Quality Program pillars (Quality Systems, finished goods inspection, New Product Development Launch Process, and OTD/Safety). The role also administers SOPs, investigates root causes of out-of-spec products and customer complaints, coordinates corrective actions with audits and outside laboratories, ensures testing aligns with specified analytical methods, maintains records of complaints and actions, provides feedback from audit results to manufacturing, and supports both ongoing production and new product qualifications. Requires experience in blueprint reading, quality management, regulatory knowledge (ISO9001 & AS9100), and a track record of continuous improvement and data-driven problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in blueprint reading (There will be a test upon interviewing)
- Quality Management experience required
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements. ISO9001 & AS9100
- Minimum of five years of progressive responsible in quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Results driven with a record of accomplishments
- Continuous Improvement experience.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to work with traditional quality tools & methodology.
- Results oriented with a record of accomplishments.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers.
- Effective time management and attention to detail accuracy
