Job Summary
Lead the execution of quality assurance programs supporting product quality, food safety, and sanitation while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise and develop the Quality Assurance team, oversee scheduling and training activities, and provide technical guidance to resolve quality-related problems. Oversee QA programs including Formula Control, Allergen Control, Non-Conforming Products, Recalls, and pest control systems, while defining laboratory practices and enforcing food safety policies. Conduct GMP and sanitation audits, analyze microbiological results, and lead efforts to resolve issues such as customer complaints and product holds. Serve as the plant liaison for regulatory authorities and third-party auditors, collaborating with R&D to improve product quality and cost-effectiveness. This full-time, first-shift position at TreeHouse Foods Manawa, WI, offers a salary range of $76,200 to $114,200 annually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, or a related field
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment
- SQF Practitioner certification
- Food Defense Program leadership experience
- Experience auditing quality systems and manufacturing practices
- Experience ensuring documentation requirements are followed to meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
