Job Summary
Lead execution of plant food safety and quality programs, including HACCP and SQF systems, while directly supervising QA Technicians and managing key food safety programs. Drive continuous improvement of food safety and quality systems, oversee documentation control, and manage testing programs including microbiological, chemical, and physical testing. Lead internal and external audits to maintain plant audit readiness, manage traceability and food defense activities, and perform root cause analysis for non-conforming products. Partner with operations, sanitation, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company standards. This role reports to the Sanitation Manager within the Quality Assurance team at Campbell's.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of Quality/QA experience within food manufacturing
- CAPA experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety systems including HACCP, SQF, and GMPs
- Understanding of quality systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and plant systems
- Associate's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or related field
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or related field
- 6+ years of experience in food manufacturing, quality systems, or food safety required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Sanitation or environmental program experience preferred
