Quality Assurance Supervisor - Night

Job Summary
Conduct Quality Assurance and product/food safety checks while adhering to local, international, health, and regulatory compliance standards. Communicate non-conformances through all QA stages to Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and Transport. Lead internal audits, allocate QA staff work for shifts, and train DO&CO employees on customer specifications and standard operating procedures. Liaise with production management to ensure procedures are followed and maintain continuous information flow regarding quality and production performance. This operational role requires full flexibility for a rotating schedule including early and late shifts. The position supports the Quality Assurance management team and demands a hands-on mentality with attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Full flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including early and late shifts
- Comprehensive understanding of specifications from goods in to dispatch to airside
- Ability to communicate non-conformances through all stage of Quality Assurance to the relevant departments
- Ability to carry out the training of QA team and all DO&CO employees
- Ability to maintain a close working relationship with all operational departments
- Ability to liaise with production management
- Ability to allocate the work allocation for the QA staff on shift
- Ability to lead and direct internal audits
- Ability to support the Quality Assurance management team
- Food industry experience in a similar role
- Training in the field of food hygiene, HACCP and/or quality management or apprenticeship diploma and professional experience in the field of food safety
- Food Safety and Quality Assurance Knowledge
