Job Summary
Quality Assurance Supervisor responsible for ensuring compliance with the company's Quality programs and leading activities to meet quality targets, including metrics around cost of quality, scrap, rework, and customer/warranty returns. Oversees material and component inspection, leads root-cause analysis and formal problem solving, designs and documents procedures across process control and testing, reports quality issues using defect data, and drives continuous improvement with internal and external customers. Must be proficient in the manufacture and test of electrical and mechanical products, possess strong ownership and accountability, and be able to assemble cross-functional teams to achieve results while adhering to ISO 9001 standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality assurance and manufacturing environments
- Experience with ISO 9001 standards
- Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to design and implement QA procedures
- Ability to manage inspection and testing processes
- Experience with defect data analysis and reporting
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers
- Experience in process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical product manufacturing
