Job Summary
Quality and Food Safety Supervisor at a bakery environment responsible for maintaining HACCP/FSMA/SQF/GFSI programs, conducting audits, and ensuring FDA/USDA/compliance. Leads QA Technicians, oversees raw materials, sanitation, and CAPA; trains staff on food safety and quality protocols; maintains documentation and records; conducts internal audits and supports mock recalls and traceability exercises; supervises calibration and testing programs, label verification, and root cause analysis. Focused on upholding GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and continuous improvement within a Safe Quality Food system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a combination of experience and education
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility
- Knowledge and understanding of Regulatory Compliance - USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP & SSOP
- Holds and maintains Food Safety, HACCP, cGMP, and PCQI certifications
