Job Summary
Quality Assurance Specialist - Night Shift located at the Rowe Casa Organics manufacturing facility in New Boston, TX. Responsible for ensuring products meet required standards and specifications, following detailed QC protocols, inspecting raw materials for contamination, approving or rejecting products, gathering samples for third-party testing, and training production staff on quality standards. Works with the Product Quality Team Lead and production staff to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment; must be available during all production staff hours and adhere to PPE and safety procedures. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
- Proficient arithmetic skills and ability to work with numerical data
- Experience training others (one-on-one or in groups)
- Ability to work independently and follow safety and PPE procedures
- Familiarity with handling raw materials and ensuring product conformance to specifications
- Ability to coordinate with QA leadership and participate in sampling and testing
