Quality Assurance Specialist (Manufacturing)

Job Summary
Maintain laboratory equipment to test materials and finished goods against quality standards using viscometers, pH meters, titrations, refractometers, and balances. Audit production employees to verify adherence to mixing specifications and inspect incoming raw materials for compliance. Aid manufacturing personnel with quality problems and inspect all finished products prior to shipment. Maintain records for all quality operations and comply with OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory laws. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a science field, PC proficiency, and the ability to work assigned hours plus overtime. Located on-site in De Pere, Wisconsin, the position supports NCS Chemistry's development of cleaning chemicals for the car wash industry.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future
- Bachelor's Degree in Science related field
- Maintain a satisfactory attendance record
- Comply with company rules, policies, and decisions
- Perform the responsibilities of the position at a satisfactory level of efficiency
- Required to regularly use a Personal Computer (P.C.)
- Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
- Ability to lift medium weight up to 75 lbs
- May stand for prolonged periods of time
- May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
