Quality Assurance Specialist II

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive technical and editorial reviews of all training materials to ensure adherence to NETC Style Guide, NAVEDTRA 142 standards, and Section 508 accessibility mandates. Audit courseware revisions to correct curriculum errors and align learning objectives with assessment items. Assist in collecting pilot comments at training sites for post-pilot remediation and maintain quality standards across multiple rating portfolios. This full-time executive role requires 3–5 years of experience evaluating military multimedia training products, proficiency in Adobe Captivate and MELD software, and a Bachelor's degree in English or Instructional Design. Travel is primarily local but may include overnight assignments.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the evaluation of military multimedia training products
- Experience with Adobe Captivate software
- Experience with MELD software
- Bachelor's degree in English, Instructional Design, or a related field
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess excellent written and spoken use of the English language
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Recognized as a specialty area expert in a specific Naval rating
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be available for travel (primarily local, some out of area travel and overnight)

- Capability to lead a team of subject matter experts in a high-tempo curriculum development environment
- Excellent writing, proofreading and design skills to develop training course materials
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; and attention to detail
