Job Summary
Conduct quality assurance activities and audits while ensuring regulatory compliance for the NASA Marshall Engineering Technicians and Trades Support contract. Analyze data and documentation, and may lead and direct the work of others using extensive experience and judgment. Perform duties in an environmentally controlled shop area subject to machinery noise, with occasional outdoor work and physical requirements including lifting up to twenty pounds. This role supports the METTS III contract and may include occasional overtime, second or third shift, and 24/7 onsite or on-call support based on customer needs. Applicants must pass a Public Trust background investigation and complete NASA medical screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution
- 5 years of directly related experience
- Familiarity with a variety of quality assurance concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to lift up to twenty pounds on an occasional basis
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time
- May require walking, bending, climbing stairs, and navigating shop/machine work areas
- Must meet eligibility for a Public Trust background investigation
- Applicants must be able to pass a security background check per Redstone Arsenal/MSFC requirements
- You will be required to provide two (2) forms of Federal I9 documents
- You will be required to provide a REAL ID compliant identification
