Job Summary
QA Specialist (Bilingual) for nephrology EMR software focusing on quality, usability, localization, and customer-facing functionality. Remote in Canada. Collaborates with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure software reliability and ISO 13485 compliance. Responsibilities include creating and executing manual test plans, documenting defects with reproduction steps, validating French-Canadian translations for Canadian users, and contributing to QA process improvements. Fluent English and French-Canadian, experience with localization/testing, Agile/Jira familiarity, and strong attention to detail are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in French-Canadian and English (written and spoken)
- Experience with localization or multilingual software testing
- 3+ years of QA/testing experience
- Ability to identify language/workflow inconsistencies
- Experience with documentation and defect reporting
- Familiarity with regulated software environments (ISO 13485, GDPR)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote team
- Experience with test plans, non-automated testing, and traceability to requirements
