Job Summary
Quality Assurance Specialist on the 3rd shift at Holmen Cheese LLC, responsible for coordinating and executing day-to-day QA/QC tasks, performing preventative controls and CCP verifications, sanitation verification, in-process checks, finished product inspections, and support for audits and regulatory inspections. Works closely with production staff, assists with CAPA and root-cause investigations, supports R&D projects, collects and evaluates product samples for lab retains, and ensures compliance with food safety programs and product quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Microbiology preferred. Relevant experience can be substituted for education requirement
- Three years of experience in a food/dairy manufacturing environment preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP software, required
