Job Summary
Quality Assurance/Software Tester (Intermediate) on a government client engagement. Responsibilities include participating in Sprint Planning to ensure features meet testability requirements, collaborating with software engineers to develop test cases, designing and developing system test automation scripts and reports, working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product development life cycle, building out test documentation, performing manual testing as needed, and performing software development testing activities to increase confidence, functionality, and security of application code (code coverage for automated testing, automating integration/functional/regression tests). The role emphasizes proactive bug hunting, strong communication, and ownership within an Agile environment. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience, U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain Public Trust, and proficiency with Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, JIRA, Confluence, Flutter/Dart testing, cloud automation, Agile methodologies, test-management tools, and CI/CD (Jenkins).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology (IT), or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust suitability determination
- U.S. Citizenship
- Tooling: Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, JIRA, and Confluence
- Mobile/Web Application testing
- Familiarity with Flutter/Dart testing
- Cloud automation experience
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks
- Working knowledge of test management software tooling
- Experience working with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins) to monitor/implement test scripts (JUnit)
- Required Clearance: Public Trust (able to obtain)
