Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate daily quality assurance operations at GBPI Toll Manufacturing plants, including offshore locations, while assisting the SQA Manager in implementing and monitoring quality management systems. Lead internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001, Food Safety, Halal, and regulatory standards, then develop corrective and preventive action plans based on findings. Monitor production processes for adherence to cGMP, SSOP, and HACCP, conduct training sessions for quality staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Maintain accurate documentation of audit findings and continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field, proficiency in baking science and statistical analysis, and willingness to work a shifting schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
- In-depth knowledge of 5S, cGMP, SSOP, ISO 9001, HACCP, HALAL, and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in baking science and technology, sensory evaluation, statistical analysis, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven leadership and auditing capabilities
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Google Colab and other relevant software tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule and adapt to operational demands
