Job Summary
The QA Technical Service Rep is responsible for performing roof patch and repair as needed, estimating materials and labor, and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate documentation. Must communicate effectively with customers and internal personnel, maintain safety standards, and possess hands-on roofing skills. Requires a high school diploma, prior roofing experience, knowledge of tools, and the ability to work independently and in a team. This role may necessitate weekend and holiday work, climbing ladders, and exposure to various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior roofing experience including patch and repair skills
- Knowledge and ability to use basic tools associated with commercial roofing
- Knowledge and experience monitoring and maintaining Quality Control
- Functional computer skills
- Safety training and OSHA knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships
- Must have transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to climb up and down interior/exterior ladders to access roofs
- Ability to handle prolonged exposure to outside weather conditions
- Ability to travel out of town including overnight travel
- Ability to work weekends and/or holidays if needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
- Ability to read, write and speak English
