Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector

Job Summary
Perform receiving inspection of raw materials, machined parts, assemblies, and special processes. Verify compliance with engineering drawings, purchase orders, specifications, and quality requirements. Review and validate certifications, test reports, and supplier documentation. Identify and document non-conforming materials; initiate and support corrective actions. Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace standards. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality organization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand aerospace drawings
- Strong understanding of quality receiving inspection methods and processes
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems
- Experience using measurement tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED minimum
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or related technical field
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree
- Experience with supplier quality, process improvement or process development
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- ASQ certification such as CQE or CQA
