Job Summary
Maintain Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 requirements while performing line clearance activities and accurate parts counting. Read blueprints, interpret drawings, and apply GD&T to measure physical dimensions using hand gages and Vision-based CMM systems. Complete required documentation with detail and precision, notifying supervisors immediately of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions. Manage daily workload under minimal supervision to meet department goals while adhering to safety policies and training new employees as needed. Work the 2nd shift in a climate-controlled environment supporting Viant's global medical device manufacturing services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years inspection experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints
- Basic knowledge in the use of hand gages, tool scopes and height stands
- Experience measuring physical dimensions on parts
- Ability to interpret and apply GD&T to measurement methods
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Good verbal communication and organizational skills
- 2nd shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Vision-based CMM systems
