Job Summary
Quality Assurance Inspector on the 2nd Shift inspects manufactured parts using approved inspection techniques to ensure products meet customer and company standards. Key duties include reading and interpreting blueprints, performing receiving, first piece, in-process, and last piece inspections, conducting final and dock audits, documenting quality activities (PPAP, ISIR, APQP), painting/engraving templates, applying SPC methods, assisting with calibration, and participating in corrective action and continuous improvement efforts. Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment (training provided), with strong math, organizational, and communication skills. ISO quality standards knowledge is a plus. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking up to shift length. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior experience in manufacturing or quality inspection is preferred.
