The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring food safety and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include monitoring production, recording data, inspecting facilities, and verifying compliance with safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Must obtain Washington State Food Handler's Card within 15 days of start.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Flexible work schedule – ability to work nights and weekends when needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in food safety or quality control preferred.
- HACCP certification is a plus, but not required.
- Multilingual is preferred.
