Job Summary
Check product in slots daily to verify shipping standards and inspect inbound, warehoused, and outbound freight for condition. Communicate with buyers regarding quality issues and resolve them to ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor variance reports for spoilage, warehouse, and truck damage while ensuring proper product rotation. Greet internal and external customers efficiently and convey company status on product quality to necessary parties. Analyze problems associated with Quality Assurance and propose solutions. Observe all safety rules, sanitation policies, and work Monday through Friday between 5:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of an organization
- Must have exemplary listening skills to facilitate effective two-way communication
- Can add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
