Job Summary
Monitor the Restorative department and evaluate patient care quality by tracking wound measurements, weekly weights, and immunizations. Review customer complaints, analyze compliance with laws and clinical best practices, and assist in setting facility goals and standards. Help train staff on new practices while overseeing registered nurses, LPNs, and support staff during on-call rotations. Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure accurate Medicare documentation and maintain regulatory compliance. Promote the physical and emotional well-being of residents from pre-admission through discharge.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- at least 2 years' experience in LTC/SNF care
- Must follow State and Federal Regulations
- extensive clinical experience
- prior administrative experience
- training in both nursing and management
- strong communication skills
- diplomacy
- the ability to take leadership of any situation
- able to lead and direct employees
- strong communications skills
- able to talk with physicians, residents, families and outside entities
- Strong organizational skills
- ability to review documentation to ensure proper care is provided to the residents
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience Preferred as a QA Nurse or Nurse Manager
