Job Summary
The Associate Software Quality Assurance / Testing Engineer is responsible for assisting with every phase of the development process to ensure adherence to company standards. Responsibilities include supporting planning, execution, and reporting of QA activities for new development cycles, collaborating with stakeholders to understand application functionality, designing and implementing test scenarios, supporting Agile Scrum processes, performing regression testing, and developing testing standards. Candidates should have expertise in software QA methodologies, interpersonal skills, a team player mentality, and some understanding of SQL, scripting, and object-oriented programming.
Required Qualifications
- Basic hands-on testing experience in AGILE/DevOps Methodology, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
- Basic work experience in software development.
- Basic work experience in software quality assurance.
- Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Familiarity with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Basic hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Basic experience working within a geographically dispersed company is desirable.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as Leading SAFe would be advantageous.
