Job Summary

Maintain knowledge of operations' regulatory, accreditation, and company requirements while implementing and monitoring operational systems to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Conduct operation reviews including Site Reviews, Record Reviews, and other quality monitoring activities, preparing detailed summary reports of findings. Serve as record keeper for State/Federal Survey documentation, coordinate corrective actions, and act as contact for external regulatory reviews. Lead the development and implementation of Quality Improvement Plans, oversee Critical Incident Reporting and Mortality Review processes, and chair the operation's Quality & Safety Committee. Coordinate investigations, review satisfaction survey data to identify trends, and provide recommendations to leadership for program performance improvements. Manage entry-level QA personnel, including performance evaluations, hiring, and training. Maintain certification for company signature programs and work with the Regional Director to prioritize quality and reduce risk.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in human services
  • Minimum of 2 years working directly with persons with developmental disabilities
  • Valid Driver's license in good standing
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • 25-75% - Moderate travel required within designated service sites
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
  • Negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with quality assurance systems, quality control and/or performance monitoring within a residential services field
  • Familiar with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations
  • Accustomed to complex, fast-pace and confidential work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills, able to use various software programs for correspondence, reports, statistical compilation and analysis, and database access
