Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary
Lead QA team to oversee product and process quality throughout the manufacturing cycle by developing and managing quality systems, ensuring ISO/IATF compliance, and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include managing quality teams, leading PPAP new product launches, overseeing APQP schedules, maintaining core tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP, SOPs), ensuring lifecycle documentation, participating in audits, communicating with customers on quality concerns, calibrations program maintenance, and travel as needed. Preferred qualifications include internal auditor leadership, familiarity with ASTM and Six Sigma terms, and MS Office proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the automotive manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools
- In-Depth knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (ISO/IATF/ APQP/ SPC, etc.)
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, including GD&T and metrology techniques
- Strong 8D discipline and problem-solving methodology
- Working statistical knowledge for trend analysis using Mini-Tab or other statistical software
- US Person as defined by ITAR/EAR
- Able to travel domestic and internationally up to 10% of the time
