Job Summary
Quality Assurance Manager at Red Bull Canada (Chilliwack, BC) leads QMS development and food-safety program implementation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance. Responsible for designing and governing the document management system, leading HACCP/FSMA/GMP practices, establishing QA controls across raw materials, dosing, and finished goods, and coordinating internal and external audits. Drives risk assessments, CAPA, recall readiness, supplier compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to enable scalable quality systems aligned with FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000, while supporting plant startup activities and global standards. Requires 8+ years QA leadership in food manufacturing, BS degree in a related field, PCQI certification, and strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years QA leadership in food / nutraceutical / premix manufacturing
- Strong expertise in FSMA, GMP, HACCP, GFSI standards including CFIA and Fraser Health
- Experience with solid & liquid processing environments
- Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or Chemical Engineering
- Degree in Biochemistry / Microbiology or Nutritional Science or related discipline
- Certified in HACCP / Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI)
- Certification in FSMA / HARPC compliance an asset
- Auditor certification for FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 / ISO 9001 / SQF / BRC
- GMP training
- Document Management Systems / Quality Systems training
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
- FDA regulatory compliance experience (21 CFR)
- Experience with external audits and copackers
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
