Job Summary
Design and implement policies ensuring quality standards are met consistently, while building a culture where products hit the highest benchmarks from the first attempt. Drive continuous improvement of quality controls and Non-Destructive Evaluation methods using Lean Six Sigma tools to manage site KPIs, devise control plans, and lead Voice of Customer initiatives during manufacturing changes. Collaborate with corporate quality, procurement, and vendors to oversee procedures that maintain stellar market reputation. Successfully lead a quality department, mentoring inspectors, technicians, and engineers to transform factory culture toward a proactive "stop & fix" approach. Manage ISO9001 QMS and product conformance certification, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or TPS methodologies to drive excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Machining or CNC experience
- Quality Leadership experience
- Transformed factory culture to a proactive stop and fix quality approach
- Bring over 5 years of quality or manufacturing experience, with over 3 years as a QA manager
- Successfully led a quality department, mentoring inspectors, technicians, and engineers
- Background includes ISO9001 QMS and product conformance certification management
- Lean, Six Sigma, or TPS methodologies are part of your toolkit
Desired Qualifications
- A 4 year degree is preferred
- Ideally in a technical field
