Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager oversees compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and state regulations for MAAC. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and five years’ experience in Child Development programs with management experience. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology, Social Work, Public Administration, Quality Management or a related field
  • Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience performing work in Head Start or a Child Development program
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful management and supervisory experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Experience working with State and Federal regulated Child Development Programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and databases such as ChildPlus

Additional Requirements

  • Must have and maintain a valid California Driver’s License
  • Must have a physical examination, TB clearance and a drug screen as well as immunization records prior to the first day of employment
  • All positions are subject to a background/education check prior to hire
