Quality Assurance Manager - Food Manufacturing

Job Summary
Lead and manage QA team members while overseeing implementation of SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards across chilled food operations. Ensure audit readiness for internal, customer, and third-party audits, and manage customer complaints through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Monitor sanitation practices, maintain quality metrics and KPIs, and lead product hold, release, and recall procedures. Serve as the in-plant expert for crisis management and food safety, develop training programs for staff, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues. Support sustainability and waste reduction initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in food science or related field with 10+ years of progressive experience, SQF or BRC certification, and bi-lingual Spanish/English skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in quality, food production, sanitation, or food safety
- SQF or BRC certification
- HACCP and Food Safety training

- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
