Quality Assurance Manager - Building Enclosures

Job Summary
Lead quality assurance efforts from pre-design through construction completion by reviewing design documents for quality, constructability, and coordination. Assist with project risk assessments, develop quality plans, and coordinate with architects, consultants, and third-party specialists to identify potential issues early. Oversee quality coordination during construction, including submittals, RFIs, mockups, and regular field inspections of building envelope systems. Manage warranty-related issues, contribute to lessons learned initiatives, and develop QA/QC training programs for project teams. Research construction materials, systems, and industry best practices while supporting regional marketing efforts for the company's quality program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 2 years of experience in construction, quality assurance, architecture, or building enclosure systems
- Strong understanding of building envelope design and construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing QA/QC processes or training programs is a plus
