Job Summary

Implement aviation Repair Station Manual policies by auditing processes, products, and materials against regulatory standards to ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and CAA requirements. Manage and mentor the inspection team while maintaining all quality system manuals and associated documentation. Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and auditors, conducting internal and external facility audits to identify non-compliance and implement corrective actions. Oversee quarantine and scrap programs, ensuring no defective or unairworthy parts are used or returned to service. Verify that all inspections, tests, and repairs are completed within authority limits and that work is returned to service by qualified inspectors. Provide reports to the Accountable Manager and collaborate with engineering and safety teams to mitigate risks related to safety and quality. Maintain recordkeeping and technical publications in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three years of relevant aviation, repair and overhaul, manufacturing, or related experience
  • Minimum of five years' experience in quality management role
  • Able to read and follow technical, quality, and regulatory documentation
  • Able to read and interpret overhaul and maintenance manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, data entry, and company systems
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Available to work full time with overtime as needed
  • Must pass required FAA/DOT drug testing and background screening
  • Must pass required visual acuity and color vision tests
  • Corrected hearing and vision (acuity and color) to normal range
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move materials as needed throughout the workday
  • Ability to assist with lifting, moving or supporting parts and equipment weighing up to 85 lbs
  • Ability to stand or walk on level surfaces for extended periods
  • Ability to reach above shoulder height or below the waist
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to perform detailed visual reviews for extended periods
  • Ability to sit and perform administrative duties and operate a computer for extended periods of time

Desired Qualifications

  • College degree in relevant field
  • Additional training in, aviation quality or maintenance, manufacturing, repair station operations, or related technical fields
  • Experience in an FAA repair station or regulated quality environment
  • Experience performing non-destructive inspection
