Job Summary
Manage the Quality Management System for the C-17 TS contract, establishing organizational structures to ensure AS9100 compliance and continuous production delivery. Lead the quality control program by coordinating objectives with production procedures, scheduling internal and external audits, and maintaining tracking databases for deficiencies. Interface with government customers to resolve Corrective Action Requests, conduct root cause analysis, and foster satisfaction while monitoring subcontractor compliance across program sites. Develop and implement monitoring methods, prepare progress reports, and organize training for staff on quality and continuous improvement. Requires a Bachelor's degree, ASQ certification, and a SECRET security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Business Management, Information Management, or related discipline)
- Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance
- Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
- Must have proven deployment of Continuous Process Improvement framework and associated tools
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and propose new solutions
- Excellent executive presence including oral and written communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- ASQ CQM/OE or CQE highly desired
