Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary

Investigate and resolve quality-related customer concerns and complaints while supervising Quality Inspectors to ensure productivity and adherence to standards. Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical data to establish quality standards, then create, document, and maintain quality control procedures and inspection criteria. Collaborate with production leadership to maximize product quality, minimize costs, and partner with suppliers to ensure material quality. Oversee inspection activities throughout the production cycle, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and design training programs for employees. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards while maintaining clean work areas. Work weekends, overtime, and early mornings as business needs require.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or a related field
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Experience with performance improvement and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience developing and documenting procedures and quality systems
  • Experience applying quality improvement methods within inspection and manufacturing environments
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience working with high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and implement effective corrective actions
  • Normal vision and hearing capabilities
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting
  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
  • Ability to read, write, and distinguish numbers, symbols, and written instructions
  • Work weekends, overtime, early mornings, and emergency call-outs as business needs require

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or a related field preferred
