Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary
Direct the entire Quality Assurance process, including planning, engineering, and auditing activities, while managing the Quality System to ensure ISO 9001 compliance. Lead investigations into customer concerns, drive root-cause analysis using 8D and fishbone methods, and oversee Corrective Action Requests. Supervise the Quality Assurance team in the New Carlisle facility, establish standardization practices, and facilitate monthly improvement activities. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to support product development, APQP programs, and plant trials. Manage internal audits, prepare PPAPs for customers, and maintain specifications for raw materials and final products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of related experience focused within Manufacturing Operations as a leader, particularly in continuous, high-volume setting
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Proficiency in SPC
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Must be able to function as a member of a team
- Self-starter capable of operating independently
- Must be able to maintain expected quality kpi's
- Ability to organize high volumes of work and information
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Good manual dexterity to operate computer equipment and precision measuring instruments
- Must be able to comply with all site required policies and procedures
- Must be able to execute occasional bending, reaching, pushing and pulling when retrieving and moving various items
- Must be able to squat / crouching when retrieving stored items from lower shelves and file cabinets
- Must be able to stand intermittently
- Must be able to sit in chairs (swivel, padded, and adjustable)
- Must be able to perform visual monitoring of computer screens
- Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to report all job-related illness and injuries per site safety policies
- Must be able to report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner
- Must be able to attend safety training as required
