Job Summary
Lead QA Technician responsible for hands-on lab duties and independent testing of samples using GC, GPC, UV-Vis, and FTIR to support validation and quality assurance. Executes standard test methods for QC, performs calibration verifications, prepares calibration standards for GC and GPC, and troubleshoots instrumentation. Maintains documentation in compliance with GDP/GLP, supports inventory and safety in analytical spaces, and collaborates with the team to ensure quality standards are met. Proficient with software tools such as Oracle Agile PLM and SAP; strong math/statistics skills and effective communication and time-management in a production-lab environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with GC, GPC, UV-Vis, FTIR, rheology, and thermal analysis
- Experience with basic physical chemistry parameters (pH, pressure, temperature)
- Proficient in GDP and GLP
- Ability to read and follow procedures
- Calibrated instruments experience
- Laboratory experience
- Good documentation practices
