Job Summary
Quality Assurance Lead to serve as the organizational expert in aviation quality practices for civilian and military aviation authorities. Lead the Quality Management effort as part of a cross-functional group to bring autonomous flight products to market, promoting and sustaining a culture of quality. Responsibilities include acting as the Quality authority for high design assurance software and hardware development programs to meet Development Assurance Level (DAL) objectives; creating and implementing compliance strategies aligned with DO-178C, DO-254, and AS9100D; owning and improving the QMS; preparing and conducting internal and external audits; representing the company with government auditors and external stakeholders; maintaining the Approved Supplier List and driving supplier quality improvements; developing, delivering, and documenting Quality training; leading hiring and development of Quality staff; and ensuring access to quality training and certifications (e.g., CQA, AS9100 Lead Auditor). The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience in QA for systems, software, and hardware, with knowledge of aviation standards and the ability to interact across departments and with regulators.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

- Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
