Job Summary
Lab Assistant performs microbial testing support under Molecular Biologist supervision, collecting and logging samples, preparing media and samples, assisting with Environmental Monitoring, Water analysis, and Cleaning Validation, managing inventory and lab cleanliness, operating and maintaining instruments, and maintaining comprehensive records while adhering to GPP/EU-GMP standards; collaborates with the Laboratory team to provide accurate and timely results for internal customers.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Microbiology lab environment is considered an asset
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Numerical and analytical ability
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of Microbiology techniques
- Practical knowledge of aseptic techniques and accurate pipetting
- Work independently and as a team
