Job Summary
Conduct routine and non-routine tests and analyses using technical equipment to evaluate material quality for medical, hygiene, industrial, and agricultural products. Collect, label, and process samples while executing laboratory testing according to standard procedures, observing, and interpreting findings. Record all data and results in specified forms and use computer systems to enter information. Perform quality control and calibrate equipment as necessary, maintaining proper working order and a clean work area. Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations. Requires HS Diploma or equivalent, proven experience as a lab or quality technician, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Proven experience as Lab or Quality Technician or relevant position
- Experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, standing for long periods of time, etc.
- Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office and database systems
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to write correspondence and reports
- Excellent organizational skills
