Job Summary
Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of products and assemblies while verifying specifications against technical drawings and quality standards. Observe and document air and hydrostatic testing procedures, then review results for compliance. Prepare and file quality inspection records, generate nonconforming material reports, and issue hold tags when necessary. Assist in investigating manufacturing quality issues using precision measuring instruments and maintain a safe, organized work area. Participate in departmental meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives. Requires high school diploma, two years of manufacturing experience, and ability to read ASME drawings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience involving welding, fabrication, or assembly
- Ability to read and interpret ASME drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Desired Qualifications
