Job Summary
Evaluate product defects and recommend solutions during inspections while verifying ongoing quality checks for appearance, weight, torque, and other specifications. Investigate failures and deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions, ensuring compliance with FDA GMP regulations and company quality systems. Audit production records and forms for accuracy, collaborate with production teams to coordinate schedules, and ensure staff receive proper training in operations, cGMPs, safety, and environmental practices. Maintain quality management communication regarding significant issues or trends. Perform other duties as assigned during the third shift from 10:30pm to 7:00am.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of experience in a quality-related role
- Proficient with measuring and testing devices
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Solid understanding of FDA GMPs and OSHA safety standards
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Clear communication with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential issues
- Must complete a drug and/or alcohol test as a condition of employment
