Job Summary
Conduct final inspections of products to ensure compliance with customer technical specifications, blueprints, and purchase order requirements. Inspect, test, and measure materials or products being produced while documenting FAI measurement results and completing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports. Act as a liaison with other departments, investigate quality problems, and recommend process improvements that affect quality, cost, and speed. Maintain records of inspections and prepare lists of defects to facilitate part acceptance, ensuring all quality check procedures are followed during every production phase. Take full responsibility for product shipped to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience related to QA engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
- Knowledge of measuring gauges, calipers, and instruments
- Must be able communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and written
- High School Diploma or equivalent
