Job Summary

Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of secure customer products, fulfillment materials, and packaging components at the Howard Street facility. Verify materials against job documents, bills of material, and expected quantities while checking for damage, incorrect items, labeling errors, or shortages. Read and follow job tickets, work instructions, and inspection plans to ensure correct SKUs, versions, and quantities are used during fulfillment, assembly, kitting, and palletizing operations. Review and approve first-off, in-process, and final samples before product release. Place suspect or nonconforming product on hold, notify the Quality Supervisor, and document all inspection results, defects, and approvals in QT9 or approved systems. Stop lines immediately if product quality, quantity, identification, or security requirements are at risk. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and secure work area while following all company quality procedures, safety requirements, and confidentiality protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and understand job tickets, work instructions, inspection requirements, and safety information
  • Must be able to perform basic math, counting, and quantity verification
  • Must have the visual ability to inspect product details, colors, labels, versions, barcodes, and defects
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and inspect products throughout the work shift
  • Must be able to inspect cartons, labels, inserts, cards, kits, pallets, and other fulfillment materials
  • Must have the ability to identify damaged, incorrect, missing, mixed, or defective products
  • Must have the ability to accurately count products and components
  • Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must have the ability to complete inspection records accurately
  • Must have the ability to communicate quality concerns clearly and promptly
  • Must have the ability to work independently and with others
  • Must have the ability to use a computer, tablet, scanner, scale, counting device, and basic inspection tools
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and follow secure-product procedures
  • Must be able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to follow all company quality procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and customer-specific requirements
  • Must complete required quality, safety, and security training

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous quality inspection, fulfillment, assembly, warehouse, packaging, or manufacturing experience preferred
