Job Summary
Inspect in-process and finished materials, maintain records and samples, and complete quality assurance forms to control accepted and rejected products. Certify core material for customer qualification, perform internal audits, and document scrap in the core department. Coordinate work with manufacturing and sales to ensure timely inspection, conduct on-the-job training for operators, and review manufacturing instructions for approval. Handle customer complaints, waivers, and returned goods with Customer Service, and occasionally visit vendor or customer locations for problem solving. Full-time 1st shift (Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM) starting at $20.29 per hour. Must pass vision testing and be eligible for ITAR programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of progressively more responsibility in quality and manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime
- Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
- Candidate must be able to pass corrected or uncorrected vision testing (20/30, Jaeger #2 Colorblindness, etc.)
