Job Summary
Quality Assurance Inspector role focused on ensuring airworthiness quality requirements are performed and documented per applicable regulations for maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair and alteration of aircraft, engines, and aircraft components/parts. Responsibilities include coordinating inspection activities (CAMPS/AVTRAC), inspecting aircraft, engines, parts, and components with precision tools, documenting all work packages and regulatory paperwork (FAA/FAR/CAA, etc.), conducting aircraft walk-arounds, and ensuring return-to-service meets airworthiness requirements. Must have 3+ years aircraft maintenance experience, 2+ years corporate jet experience, A&P Certification, ability to read aircraft drawings/technical data, and capability to train/mentor staff. Required Qualifications
- A&P Certification
- minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance experience
- minimum 2 years corporate / commercial jet experience
- basic set of hand tools and inventory control
- ability to use measuring and basic hand tools
- ability to interpret/process regulatory documents (FAA Regs, CAA. RSM/QCM, ADs, SBs, TCDS)
- knowledge of return-to-service procedures
- ability to train, coach and mentor employees in duties
