Job Summary
Monitor and verify that all dredging operations comply with project specifications, regulatory standards, and environmental requirements. Inspect equipment, review documentation, monitor work processes, and validate final results to ensure adherence to industry standards. This assignment requires knowledge of dredging inspection requirements and off-shore/subsea inspection experience. The role involves signing an independent contractor agreement with SGS North America Inc. Schedule includes Monday to Friday, 8 to 10 hours per day, with assignments lasting three to six months. Candidates must hold AWS, CWI, CSWIP, or API 510/API 570 certifications and possess at least five years of industrial inspection experience, including two years in quality assurance for dredge inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least one of the following: AWS / CWI / CSWIP or API 510/API 570
- Minimum of five (5) years industrial inspection experience
- Two (2) of these years should be in Quality Assurance inspector for dredge inspections services
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of dredging inspection requirements
- Off-shore/subsea inspection experience
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday – 8 to 10 hours/day
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations
