Quality Assurance Inspector - Dredge Inspections - Contract

Quality Assurance Inspector (Dredge Inspections) contracted role in Baton Rouge, LA with SGS. Responsibilities include monitoring and verifying dredging operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory standards, and environmental requirements; inspecting equipment; reviewing documentation; monitoring work processes; and validating final results. Must demonstrate knowledge of dredging inspection requirements and have offshore/subsea inspection experience. Certifications such as AWS / CWI / CSWIP or API 510/API 570 are required, with 5-10 years of industry experience (including 2 years in QA for dredge inspections). Work is on an independent contractor (1099) basis with potential per diem if travel exceeds 200 miles from residence. Schedule typically Monday–Friday, 8–10 hours per day.
