Job Summary
Conduct final inspections of products to ensure compliance with customer technical specifications, blueprints, and purchase order requirements. Inspect, test, and measure materials or products being produced, documenting FAI measurement results and completing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports. Act as a liaison with other departments while investigating quality problems to recommend and implement process improvements affecting quality, cost, and speed. Report findings to the QA Manager and ensure corrective actions are taken. Maintain inspection records and prepare defect lists to facilitate part acceptance. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Steico Industries, a manufacturer of precision tube and duct assemblies for major airframe clients including Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience related to QA engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
- Knowledge of measuring gauges, calipers, and instruments
- Must be able communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and written
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Access to our facilities is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- Applicants receiving a conditional offer of employment will be required to provide information to determine whether they are subject to these regulations
