Job Summary
QA Inspector on 2nd Shift responsible for in-process and final inspections on manufactured parts, receiving inspections of vendor parts, and First Article Inspections. Proactively supports Safety, Quality and Productivity; must read a tape measure to 1/8 inch, follow verbal/written/pictorial instructions, navigate SAP, read product drawings, approve materials/products via visual/measurement inspections, document results, maintain inspection equipment, promote a safe environment, and participate in ISO/5S/Continual Improvement initiatives. Requires at least 5 years in manufacturing QA/QC and a High School diploma or GED. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years related manufacturing experience
- Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control field
- Ability to read a tape measure and calipers
- Ability to read product drawings and perform inspections
- SAP proficiency
- Experience documenting inspections in reports/logs
- Strong interpersonal communication and judgment
- Ability to work 2nd shift
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
- Continuous improvement mindset (5S, ISO)
